Borann Lodge is the villa guesthouse which is built in an elegant design with a massive and detailed wood works in structure, and in both interior and exterior areas. The roofing tile is made of wood, hence rendering the cool temperature inside the house. All furniture in the bed rooms and living room is made of woods whose the design and the craftsmanship of the work are very impressive and beautiful.

Rooms at the Borann Lodge :

1. Ban Lung Suite (1) : This spacious 8 m x 5 m bed room has a large double bed and 1 single beds with all amenities : TV, refrigerator, air conditioner, fan. The private bathroom has a bath tub and is also equipped with hot water shower. There is also a sitting area within the room featured with very nice wooden sofa and armchairs. Working space is also available with table and chairs provided. A main large living room of the villa is in front of this suite, hence adding to more space to be enjoyed by guests..


2. Borann Studio (1): This roof –top studio style room is on the third floor of the house with a commanding view from the west of the bedroom. The studio comprises of one bedroom with large double bed and private bathroom, a private living areas, and a private veranda to the east. Air conditioner, TV, refrigerator, and hot water shower.



3. Standard Twin Rooms (4 rooms) : Each of these 4 standard rooms is featured with aircon, refrigerater, TV, and private bathroom with hot shower. Each room has 2 large single beds.    
                            
4. Single and twin fan rooms (5 rooms) : Each room has fan and private bath room with hot shower. Some of the rooms have 1 large double bed, and some offer 2 single beds.

 Excursion and Organized Tours in Ratanakiri : The lodge can arrange excursions in Ratanakiri, including trekkings and home stay in the tribal villages. Bus and van tickets to Phnom Penh, Kampong Cham, Kratie, Lao (4000 Islands), Vietnam Border, and many other places are also available.

DAY TRIPS

Day I:            Location(around Ban Lung)
Option 1: 3 waterfalls, elephant ride, Crater lake, if time a low visit one of the weaving villages.
-          Cha Ung waterfall 9km
-          Ka Tieng waterfall 10km (The waterfall which visitors prefer to ride elephant from the waterfall to the Jungle or Kreong Village.)
-          Ka chagn waterfall 5km
-          Yaklom Lake (Volcanic Lake) 5km
-          La Earnkreng village (Tam Poun Minority) 11km
            Option 2: 3 waterfalls, elephant ride, Crater Lake, and Sun set at the top of the Ei Sey Partmak Pagoda Muontain(locally known as Wat Phnum Sway) 
-          Visit Reclining Buda
Day II:                        Location (Vern Sai District 35km)
 
            -  To see Cemetery in Ka Chork Minority village. Take the boat from Vern Sai to village it take one hour and a half a long Se San River. When return we enjoy our lunch at Riverside Restaurant and then continue to see Chinese and Loa villages (by the same boat).
-  A long the way back we pass by one of the Kreong Minority villages (Ka Lai village) where the destination of trekking starts and observe daily life of villagers.
Day III:           Location (An Doung Meas District 55km) 
 
-          Visit Gem mime area in old Bor Keo District
-          See one of the long minority traditional houses (Tam Peun) with 13 families. Lunch in Andoung Meas market.
-          Enjoy with cemetery of Cha Ray minority villages. Take the boat from Andoung Meas district to village. It takes one hour and fifteen minutes. When came back we can enjoy gold sieving with minority villagers along Se San river.
Day IV:           Location (Lumphat District 35km)
-           Visit old provincial Capital of Lumphat during 1970
-          See many old holes bomb of The U S bombing during the Khmer Rue and aboundoned High School
-          Enjoy with fresh palm juice in Jungle market

  Trekking itinerary: (one night and two day trek)
        Kalai Jungle Community Protected Area
                     Location ( Ochum District)

Day I:  - Depart from Banlung at 8.30am to Kalai Villages by motorcycle or car (depend on the number of people)
-  9.30am arrive Kalai villages where trekking starts
-  Five hours of trekking through the jungle from village to arrive at the camp. Along the way you can experience the sights and sounds of beautiful Ratanakiri woodland
- Stop and camp near one of the streams where you can wash, swim and jump in a small swimming pool
-  Sleep in the hammock with mosquito nets under the moon lit stars near a beautiful natural pool.  Swim and refresh whilst your guide cooks dinner. After dinner, we will make a bonfire and enjoy a small party with Cambodian Rice wine.

Day II: - Wake up early in the morning to the joyful sound of the monkeys around
-Wash and bath in the stream and have breakfast with coffee and start the trip back at 8:30am
-Trek approximately five hours through the wild scenery; if we are lucky, we will possibly see some kind of wild life, such as monkey, snake, wild pig etc.

2) Food
* First day:   
  a) Lunch: Fried vegetable with beef or pork and rice. By the way, with vegetarians (fried vegetable with noodle or rice)
  b) Dinner: Khmer and minority soup with rice. The special soup is locally known as Sproung soup.
 c) Night time: Small party with Cambodian rice wine around a romantic bonfire.

 * Second day:
a) Breakfast: Fried noodles with vegetables and meat
b) Lunch: local meals similar to what local people enjoy (grilled or fried meat)

 3) Drinks: Breakfast including coffee, tea and drinking water

4) Community Guide: He/she is selected from villages. They are very knowledgeable about the area, especially the woodland, enabling the trekker to enjoy some exciting activities.

5) Sleeping equipment: hammock and mosquito net available at all times.

Trekking Itinerary

Two nights and three days trek (one night in jungle; another night in village)

Day I:
- Depart from Banlung at 8:30 am to Kalai village by motorbike or car, depending on the number of people.
-9:30 am arrive Kalai village which is the start of trekking.
-Five hours of trekking through the jungle from village, to arrive at the camp. Along the way, you can enjoy the sights and sounds of unique and beautiful Ratanagiri forest
-We will stop and camp near one of the streams where we can enjoy swimming and by holding the vine from the tree, we can jump into a small natural swimming pool.
-Swim and refresh while the Guide cooks dinner. After dinner, we will make a bonfire and enjoy a small party with Cambodian rice wine.
-Sleep in the hammock with mosquito net under the moonlit stars, near an enchanting natural pool.

Day II:
-Wake up early in the morning with the joyful sound of nearby monkeys.
-Wash and bathe in the stream and try medicinal plants between coffee and tea, after which we will commence our trek at 8:30 am.
-Trek approximately six hours through the vast jungle and lovely scenery to Khreong minority village.
-Enjoy the natural bamboo shower with local people while the Guide prepares dinner.
-Sleep in the meeting house in the middle of the village and enjoy Jar wine with the minority people, locally known as Upland Khmer.  

Day III
-Wake up early and trek around the village to observe daily life of the Upland Khmer.
-You will be happy to see children, adults and the elderly who work hard for their community.
-Trek back for approximately five and a half hours through the jungle to Kalai village.

2)      Food
*First Day
a) Lunch: Rice, vegetables, with beef or pork
b) Dinner: Khmer and minority soup with rice. This is a special soup, locally known as Sproung soup.

b) Lunch: traditional Khmer soup
c) Dinner: traditional meal possible with local people plus a wonderful party with community people in the village

a) Breakfast: Fried rice or noodles with vegetables and meat
b) Lunch: Khmer traditional soup and grilled meat

3) Snacks: coffee, tea, and drinking water
4)      Community Guide: He/she is selected from the village. They are very knowledgeable of the surrounding area, especially the jungle to where the trekker is heading.
5)      Sleeping equipment: hammock and mosquito net are always available.
